HISTORY
Ator was one of seven alien Green Lanterns stationed on Earth in the year 2425. Though he had lived on Earth most of his life, by the standards of his race Ator was still considered a "teenager." In that time, he and Lara Wayne (Supergirl Blue) had developed feelings for each other. A relationship was not to be as though Lara was over 400 years old, due to a blackout bomb set in 2025 her physical age had been stuck as that of an eleven year old.
While Ator withdrew, Lara set out to change things. She obtained Gold Kryptonite which took away her powers, and as she planned restored her normal aging process, but would come at a greater cost that she could imagine.
At the Superman Museum in Metropolis, Lanterns Uhrbala and Sss-tss-sss were killed by the returned Lex Luthor. The remaining five ring wielders sought to defeat the villain. One by one, the Green Lanterns fell by Luthor's hand. Ator was the last, as an atomic bomb detonated. While the Green Lantern contained the blast so no others were at risk, he had taken the brunt of the explosion. Badly burned, he could not escape under his own power, nor could the available rescuers brave the radiation. Devoid of her powers, Lara Wayne could do nothing while Ator died.[1]
POWERS AND WEAPONS
As a Green Lantern, Ator possessed a power ring and power battery.
