HISTORY

Green Lantern Cossite was serving in the Sciencells on Oa during an attack by Larfleeze and his Orange Lantern Corps. Though Cossite volunteered to remain behind to guard the prisoners as warden Voz led a group of Lanterns to defend the planet, this was not out of any sense of duty to the Corps. He had developed a romantic attraction to one of the prisoners.

Cossite believed the love he felt for Prixiam Nol-Anj was reciprocated. When the power ring of a fallen Star Sapphire sought out Nol-Anj, Cossite released her from the Sciencell, believing the ring proved her love. Unfortunately, the love she felt was not from him, and Nol-Anj used her new power to slay the Green Lantern.
