HISTORY

The daughter of Golden-Age hero Gimmick Girl aka Merry, Girl of a 1000 Gimmicks, Jacqueline used a variety of expensive gimmicked gadgets to become a super-hero (though on easy, safe missions only), then made a mint by playing on her celebrity status, regaling convention-goers with her tales of other heroes whom she claims to have known or worked with, such as Aquaman, Booster Gold, Little Boy Blue and Zatara. She joined Vigilante's modern Seven Soldiers of Victory and perished along with the rest of the group on their first mission when the team was caught in trap by Neh-Buh-Loh.

Some of the magic energies of the creatures that killed her spilled into her bag of tricks, changing it, and one day Jacqueline simply crawled out of the back, once more among the living. It wasn't just the bag that had changed though, as now Gimmix's tricks were also magic in nature and maybe she was as well.
