HISTORY
Nagaf was the boss of "the Subterranean Collective," a group of young children on the planet Xela. He expected them to commit crimes and give him the ill-gotten gains in exchange for meager food and shelter. Nagaf was cruel, especially to a young Korugrian boy he called Korg.[1]
Six years earlier, a woman had paid Nagaf to take care of the child, claiming she would return but never did. Nagaf called the child "Korg" after his birthworld of Korugar.[2]
Nagaf berated Korg every chance he could, recognizing the boy was plotting an escape from the "family." Korg believed he was the son of the infamous Thaal Sinestro and for two years, had been skimming credits from the crimes he committed to cobble together a spacecraft. On the night of Korg's escape attempt, Nagaf brought the spacecraft down and had the other kids destroy it. This led to a final confrontation where Korg revealed Nagaf had been a much higher standard of life than he led on, turning the rest of the Subterranean Collective against him. In a brutal fight, Korg beat Nagaf. It is not known if Nagaf survived.[3]
